The Wasco County Planning Department has received notice from the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) that Periodic Review Tasks 3-8 have been approved.
Much of this work was done at last year’s roadshow events, and features amendments to Chapters 3 (Agricultural Lands) related to agri-tourism, Chapter 5 (Air, Land, and Water) dealing with water conservation, Chapter 9 (Economic Development) and Chapter 2 (Land Use Planning) related to land use planning incentives.
Staff has also submitted to DLCD tasks 9-11 and anticipate feedback about those shortly.
