The volunteer Citizen Advisory Group is made up of 7-9 members from the Wasco County Planning Commission.  These members represent different parts of the County geographically, and many work in different sectors.

To view their Charter and the rules governing their activity and roles please read here.

The Citizen Advisory Group helps staff set agendas, makes recommendations to the Planning Commission about items needing a vote, and serves generally in an advisory capacity to staff during Wasco County 2040.

You can view their meeting agendas, packet materials, and minutes here: http://www.co.wasco.or.us/departments/planning/agendas_and_minutes.php

We also have historical meeting information on the References page showing the enormous amount of groundwork staff and the Citizen Advisory Group laid prior to initiating Voluntary Periodic Review.

We currently have two alternate Planning Commission (and Citizen Advisory Group) positions open.  To apply, download an application here: http://www.co.wasco.or.us/departments/administrative_services/volunteer_opportunities.php.  The process is competitive, and applications are reviewed by a committee who nominates new members.
